| Chambers of Commerce exist in practically every community in the Country. They usually perform valuable services in addition to providing you with a platform to generate business. Check out several before choosing one and then be sure to attend on a regular basis. |

Computer/Tech Groups
|
| A computer users' group is an excellent place to meet knowledeable people and to learn more about your computer. Their meetings usually include an industry spokesperson or representative from a hardware or software company. Another reason to join is often these groups get discounts on purchasing hardware or software. |

|
|
Cultural/Arts/Science
|
| Cultural groups or groups that support the arts, museums, performing arts, fundraisers for the arts, related business groups. |

|
|
Faith Based Business/Networking
|
| Business support groups hosted by religious organizations such as churches, or those focused on business people of a particular sect. (This section is not intended to be a general church directory.) |

Networking and Leads Clubs
|
These groups are designed with the idea of providing you with access to other small businesses to which you can promote your own business.
Some groups only allow one business per category so you will have no competition for your services within the organization. Others offer no restrictions.
They often meet weekly, but some have different schedules. Be aware that there may be rules on belonging to other similar groups, too, because each group wants you to devote all of the leads you generate to them. |

| List your service organizations like Lions, Kiwanis, Rotary, (others?) Submit your organization and meeting time in this directory. |

Singles' Groups, Services
|
| Find organizations that host events for singles to meet for networking or for just plain fun. Functions like dances, dinners, parties, trips, tours and other gatherings. Of course, since we are all networkers, we never attend any meeting without some business cards handy. Singles' events will not be listed in the business calendar on the Events page. |

Trade/Professional Associations
|
|
Trade groups are specific to a certain industry, field or profession. They are usually focused on developing or enhancing skills or communications within their respective field. However, you may also find that most of them provide an excellent platform at which to promote yourself or even to find a new career.

Training/Educational
|
|
Organizations designed to help make you or your employees more productive, efficient, or more skillful in the performance of you/their jobs. Examples are SCORE, Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), Tostmasters or One-Stop Centers.

Women's Organizations
|
| Strictly for the ladies, these organizations are structured to help women associate with other women in their respective professions. Some are narrowly focused on a particular field while others may include many different professions but with a common denominator. Ladies also be sure to check the networking organizations for other resources. |
